Corporate Plus Member
National Minority Supplier Development Council
APC has achieved “Corporate Plus Member” status with the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) for consistently providing world-class quality and service on a national basis. John Paterson, Senior Vice President and worldwide Chief Procurement Officer of IBM Corporation nominated APC for this prestigious membership. Of over 16,000 national members, only 80 have ever achieved the Corporate Plus Member designation. Of these, APC is one of very few technology companies to achieve this prestigious level. Troy Roberts, APC’s COO, recently stated, “We are really proud to have achieved one of the highest level designations of a national minority business enterprise in America. NMSDC’s Corporate Plus Member shows APC’s commitment to consistently deliver high quality value to our clients on a national basis.”
Corporate Plus
Corporate Plus® is an unprecedented membership program of the National Minority Supplier Development Council for the highest caliber minority business enterprises which have the proven capacity to handle national contracts for major corporations. Many corporations report they are consolidating their supplier base in an effort to control supplier quality and costs, while at the same time increasing partnerships with Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) that can provide creative solutions for meeting business initiatives. Corporate Plus Membership was designed to recognize national capabilities, bring them to the attention of all national Corporate Members, and expand their participation in the NMSDC Network. The success of this program will raise the level and perception of minority businesses to national prominence in corporate America.
