Medical
APC provides health insurance through one of the industry's most reputable carriers. Coverage may include a spouse and/or children.
The health plan includes:
- Options for using in- and out-of-network doctors, hospitals and facilities
- Eye examinations, discounted lenses and frames
- Prescription drug plans
- Mental health and substance abuse services
- Discount rates on secondary medical practices (chiropractic care, acupuncture, massage therapy, etc.)
In addition, APC offers an optional personal cancer coverage plan that focuses on the costs associated with treatment, therapy, recovery and counseling.
Dental
APC offers optional dental coverage with competitive group rates. The dental plan includes:
- Visiting the dentist of your choice
- Coverage plans for preventative, basic and major dental procedures
Employee Assistance Program
APC's Employee Assistance Program provides services such as assessment, short-term counseling and referrals to help employees deal with life's occasional difficulties. Confidential assistance can be provided for:

Retirement Programs
401K and IRA Employees may contribute to the APC's 401K, a tax-deferred retirement saving plan, which include a variety of investment options. APC employees may also contribute to both Traditional and Roth IRAs by having deductions taken directly from their paychecks. APC's uses the IRS Automatic Payroll Deductions Savings Plan provided by our 401K Retirement Plan provider. This allows all sales charges to be waived for funds in which employees invest their IRA dollars.
College Savings Plan
The College Savings plan is an optional tax-advantaged savings fund specifically designated for an employee's or any beneficiary's higher education or professional training costs.
Life Insurance
APC offers optional life insurance coverage to ensure financial obligations are addressed in case of death.

Workers Compensation
APC provides insurance to cover expenses incurred if an
employee is injured in the workplace or during the course of business. This
compensation insurance plan covers medical bills and provides compensation for
any missed work. Worker's compensation insurance includes all injuries,
occupational disease or illness and death.
Long-Term Disability
In the event employees become totally or partially
disabled due to injury or sickness, APC provides long-term disability
insurance once the elimination period has been met. APC covers 40% of an
employee's monthly salary towards long-term disability at no employee cost. An
additional 20% coverage can be acquired, if desired.
Short-Term Disability
APC offers short-term disability coverage as an
optional benefit. This coverage is to provide a source of income if an
employee becomes disabled on a short-term basis due to a sickness or
off-the-job injury.
Accidental Insurance Plan
APC offers this optional insurance plan designed to
help cover expenses associated with an accidental injury. This coverage may be
used regardless of any other insurance an employee may have.
Long-Term Care Insurance
APC offers insurance that provides for future care
such as facility and home/community-based services. This optional plan is for employees and their immediate and extended family.

APC offers direct deposit of all compensation on pay day to your bank account. This includes appropriately handling all deductions for insurance and retirement programs. In addition, all full-time employees are eligible for and encouraged to use personal paid-time off for holidays, vacations, illness and personal days.
APC also offers employees a Credit Union membership providing access to competitive loan rates, higher savings rates, no-fee checking accounts, financial management services and other financial programs.
